How to correct, dispute, or remove your listing

Penang Aircon Guide is a free, independent directory of air conditioning contractors across Northern Malaysia. Your listing is built from publicly available business information, and your score is calculated from Google reviews using a single, published rubric applied uniformly to every contractor listed. Being listed costs nothing, and payment has no effect on your score or rank. This page explains how to correct factual details, challenge the accuracy of your scoring data, ask for your listing to be removed, or understand why a request was declined. Fixing factual details

Your name, address, phone number, website, opening hours, and services list can all be corrected. When you submit a correction, send proof alongside it. A photograph of your business signage, a link to your Google Business Profile, your website, or another official source that shows the correct information will do. Once confirmed and applied, corrections remain in place through all future updates to your listing.

Challenging your score

Your score is not edited by hand. If you believe it is wrong, you are claiming that the input data is flawed. Common cases are a listing that pulls reviews from the wrong business, a review attributed to you that is not yours, or a summary that misrepresents what your reviewers actually wrote. When you file a dispute, we re-check the sources and rebuild your listing. A dispute is not a request for a higher number, it is a claim that the data going into the calculation is incorrect.

Requesting removal

A listing is removed if your business is permanently closed, if it is a duplicate of another listing, or if it falls outside the scope of this directory. Our monthly verification cycle automatically detects and removes permanently closed businesses. If your business is active and in scope, we will not remove the listing, and we will tell you why. An accurate, in-scope listing stays published.

How long it takes

Every request receives a reply within 5 business days. Removals that are approved take 7 days to process. Declined requests include an explanation of why.
